I love it when vendors call about an “issue” with thedwgs & ask for a meeting. Then come and show me all the other products they sell…
Full scale mockups are saving the day. 3 made so far, all 3 terribly wrong. Drawings and meetings appear to be somewhat useless.
Mechanical Consultant asks me to approve drawings that have not been seen or drawn… “Can you approve so we can move forward?” Nope.

Site visit to explain drawings to contractor. “Width” and “Heigth” getting confused. Problem solved.
SITE VISIT TIPS #001: If you plan to wear open sandals, be careful of the rebar lying all over the place. You might cut your foot… ouch.
New project in Hyderabad: 6 story office bldg - after columns are in place - client decides to make it his private residence.

Contractor seems to be getting back at me by giving my phone number to vendors who sell products we’re not using… thanks.
